We appreciate the support of Presbyterian Homes & Family Services through the Mad Hatter’s Ball. As families in our community had to make many difficult choices regarding daily living and expenses, we decided to break from tradition and forego the Ball and related New Year’s Eve in 2009. We missed hosting such a meaningful and fun-filled event, but we look forward to 2010.
However, the needs of those in our care have not changed. We continue to serve at-risk children and families through therapeutic residential care, an emergency shelter, diagnostic and intensive in-home therapy services, a mental health support program, and a full inclusion preschool. Our adults with intellectual disabilities continue to lead active and fulfilling lives in 10 group homes across the state. Even in these challenging times, our promise is to live our mission of transforming the lives of children, families, and communities through nurture, healing, and encouragement.
Many individuals "bought a ticket" and our corporate partners continued to support this transformative work. We raised nearly $50,000 to continue to meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable in our community.
Thank you!
