Presbyterian Homes & Family Services ministry manifests itself in preventive, rehabilitative and specialized services for the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional needs for children, youth, adults and their families. You can share in the wonderful feeling of giving to those who are less fortunate by volunteering.
Original Administration Building
Presbyterian Homes began in 1903 on a farm outside of Lynchburg as an orphanage. Today, we serve at risk youth and adults with developmental disabilities.
Shoeless Wonders
The Shoeless Wonders, Presbyterian Homes' legendary football team was renown for their bare feet and undefeated records. This Lynchburg based team dominated the city league from the 1920's through the 1950's.
